Pilot Transfer Arrangement references
To address the varying interpretations of SOLAS V/23, IMO Resolution A.1045, and Maritime Rule Part 53 that have been seen in recent years, Maritime New Zealand has published the following Good Practice Guidance on Pilot Transfer Arrangements, which includes the latest version of the IMO – IMPA Poster.
The NZMPA Executive encourages all pilots to become familiar with this guidance and to promulgate it further to other teams within their organisations.
