In addition to IMPA Notice 971, this notice describes the outcomes of IMO Maritime Safety Committee 106 with respect to proposed amendments to SOLAS Chapter V, Regulation 23 (pilot transfer arrangements) and the commencement of work toward the introduction of a voluntary code for Marine Autonomous Surface Ships (MASS Code).
